Good news! The Virtural Reality Language Learning Space is done.This weel, the pictures of words corridor were made in blender and import in to domain successfully! Darryl helps us recording the audio. It's useful for students learning words. They could know how to pronounce it and follow the audio to read the sentences. I also set all of portals to connect different parts together. Furthermore, I made a map to introduce the places briefly. The quiz also done by today and I attached the link below.

After we deleted all of pictures which attached as web page, the space could work well again!

It's so hard to deleted all of them that when we move too much, the program would crashed again. Before we give up and decided to make a new one(based on the last backup), Simona updated the sandbox. This really helps. Once we login the Interface will crash, we couldn't do anything. Although the interface still could be crashed, after the updated, we can move a little bit and have sometime to delete some pictures.

So, everything goes well now!

Furthermore, I will remember to backup the sandbox everyday!

The HiFi still not working! Simona send email to HiFi program team in order to get some help. I also publish a blog on the HiFi Forums to get some solutions. However, we didn't recieve any reply. I guess it would be too much webpage to crash the sever. So we tried to delete some webpage. Hope it would be worked.

Furthermore, we done some questions of the quiz.

The HiFi interface crashed!😱😱Every time we login and turn around, the HiFi interface will shut down.We tried to pack the sandbox in to another computer and try again. However, it still not working and shut down again. I use another computer and tried their own sandbox, they're all good! It's so strange!

There are some problem with the words' picture. It takes long time to loading the webpages. Users should wait a long time to see the pictures. I also changed some other website to show the pictures but it still looks not good. So I will attached the pictures as textures in blender.

Furthermore, I found a website which could make quiz online easily.

The words corridor almost done. We put the word cards along the street. Every word have there explanation and picture.We put them together and locked so that other people coundn't move them.

Then we are going to make some dialogue and put them together.

I found some pictures which could match the word list and copied the URLs of the pictures in to web pages in HiFi. The pictures shows brighter and clearer than upload them as models' textures.

I also attached a video into clothes shop. It's mainly about the people's conversation of buying clothes. However, the size quite small and when someone came into this domain the video will play. It's really noisy and annoyed me a lot.Now, I'm trying to find a way to limit it not to play unless some clicked on it. Maybe add a zone could be work.

The HiFi goes not well again. I can't visit Simona's domain again! It is so diseater for us that I cannot work in my computer. So I told her to do the text part of the word corridor and I download some picture which could explain the words. However, some of words are difficult to show as pictures, such as cheers, cuz and eh. The pictures are attached below.

After we found that the web pages could be insert into HiFi, there is another way for us to make some quiz as teaching materials. The "online quiz" was searched by Google and there cames out lots of different ways to make quiz online. So we can insert the quiz link as a web page into HiFi, students could do some exercise easily. The online quiz is also easy to check answers and give marks.

Furthermore, I changed the rock road. Now it looks like walk on the high way!

began to build the words corridors. It is a good beginning to add some teaching materials and make this land meaningful.

I put the stories in to the HiFi. I also set some chair for people which allow them to sit and have some rest while read those stories.

The clothes shop is done and people could buy the clothes now!

People could sit of the sofa to have a rest and wait for their friends.

This shelve is for the bags.

The stuffs on this shelve could attach to the avatars.

I found the way to copy the clothes shop stuffs from the Welcome to our clothes shops.

Go to Create and click on the model. Go to List and click on the EXPORT SELECTION. Giving the model a name and save it. Then, go back to the clothes shops and go Create again. Click on the IMPORT ENTITIES(.JOSN) instead of open this domain's asset server. Choosing the model saved before and import it again.

Now, you can see the things were copied in to your domain!

I found 5 pieces of short stories and I've already copy them into the Blogger Pages.

We tested our space in VR mode and everything looks excellent. However, the avatars could'n move by pressing Rifts' joystick. We can teleport to the select place by pressing the bottom A. There is another problem with the teleport--we can not teleport to the teleport point. Avatars could teleport near by the point and walk in it. I think it would be there is a invisiable Box which attached the teleport script to prohibit avatars teleport into it. Maybe the Box could change into the Zone thus avatars could teleport into the point. I will test this next week. Furthermore, the Words Corridors will be build in next week.

I made a page in HiFi which could insert the webpage into it. I set one page of my blog. People could click on the bottom to view different page and make some comments. It just like the real webpage. I think it would be a great way to show something like a note card in Second life. I also found an area in blogger which named Pages. I can put the content in this page and link it into HiFi.
