In these days, I build some different things in blender to practice my skill. I tried to add some textures on the building and upload into HiFi. However, it still failure. I didn't know which step is wrong. So I download some works from website [http://tf3dm.com/] and upload in to HiFi. IT STILL FAILURE. It must be the way to transfer or HiFi problem. I will work on this next week.
Furthermore, I would like to find a way to upload the notecards and some recordings. I have some ideas but I'm not sure is the way works. This is my another work next week.

Last week, I attended a lecture which mainly talked about the story telling in Virtual Reality.
From this lecture, I have some ideas. Firstly, we can design the seat between students and teachers as different. We can make students closer. As the lecture stated, different distance from different relationships would bring people different feelings. For example, the distance from friends will be shorter than peers.
Secondly, we should have some interesting content to fill the space, in other words, text should be meaningful. We should not just build a space which only includes some classrooms or some open rooms for students, but also have some content could attract students like to stay here and we should provide some readings or recordings for self learning.
Third, we could divided the different content(readings, recordings & etc.) into different themes. A systematic knowledge structure could help students learning effectively. So divide different knowledge into different themes is necessary. This not only could keep students' motivation easily, but also could help students get the information systematically. Furthermore, this could help students more focus on one topic in each period.
Last idea is for the different themes, we could use the form of story telling to combine them. We could use story or only one road to connect the different places in sequence. It can make the whole space which include several themes seems well organized.

Today I watched some videos about how to create grass and trees. I also learned how to create the beautiful fall road. Creating in Blender is a complicated thing which would spend lots of time and must have patience. However, I felt so successful when I see the thing I created. For next step, I'd like to learn more create skills from video and blender.

For the third day, I tried to fix the texture problem but still failed. However, I found another way to show the color out in HF--do use the materials but not the textures. It is suitable for the simple things with the simple color. And I still need try to find how to use the textures in the future. I also learned how to make an apple in Blender. At the end, I uploaded the apple to the HF. Texture is still the problem which makes a lot of trouble.

At the beginning of this day, I adjust the texture of the cup, its not a complicated job. After that I tired to upload the model into HF today but there are too much difficulties. We found that the sandbox of HF was disappeared and spend a lot of time to fix this problem. Fortunately, I could import the model after reload the sandbox. However, when I put the cup in to the world the color turned to black! The texture was disappeared! I tried to adjust the setting about the blender and HF but doesn't work. Maybe I should find another way to fix this tomorrow.

This is the first day to begin my topic and I did two things.
First, I watched some video on the Youtube. Several days ago, I was log in to the High Fidelity. It was not a virtual world like Second Life. In Second Life, we have the menu which include many options in the topic of screen (this is really convenience) but we should call the menu out by right click in High Fidelity. Although this kind of design in HF makes the vision looks more clean and tidy, I need a some time to acquainted in this new world and learn how to use the different functions. So I watched some video to see how other users to use this system and what did they do in HF.
Secondly, I downloaded the Blender and did the tutorial. This is another thing I would like to complain! I did not find out how to build stuffs in HF directly! Maybe I just need some time to find this function out. Anyhow I downloaded the Blender and try to learn how to use it. It is really complicated to learn how to use it. After the tutorial, I only had one thought in my head--what did he said? So I found another video which explain the application in Chinese and I also find a video which is teach how to make a cup in Blender.
